The fishing's done. The judges are tallying the results. And Team Clusterf*ck is plotting its strategy for the 2012 BHC.

We had planned our Florida trip 6 months ago. When we learned that it coincided with the BHC we jumped on that, too. This year we will be planning around the 2012 BHC. So much beach. So little time.

Unless we have some Team post any more big sharks between right now and 12 noon toady the BHC has it's champions waiting for final confirmation.

HONORABLE MENTION GOES TO TEAMS LIKE

TEAM PORK RINDS

TEAM JURASSIC

TEAM CLUSTERFU#K

A very special mention goes to these out of state teams new to our BHC tournament for believing in us enough to see through the muck that was created by ill intentoned peolple who wanted to discredit all our HISTORY and recent hard work.To them I say "thank you for allowing us to serve you ,I hope we have proven ourselves to you and hope that you will not allow anyone to question our integrity " These teams of special fisherman seasoned veterans for the most part deserve special mention because they have also set the bar much higher and have opened the doors for other out of state teams to compete in the future .You guys and gals are pioneers that in a great way helped improve the BHC.These teams traveled from out of state hundereds of miles to fish in our tournament and have proven to be some of the very best Teams fishing. They teach us in little ways and we are always greatful for new advice to up our game no matter where we fish we understand that every area has it's little tricks that sometimes take years to learn. They have taught us that we better buy gigs to get better when fishing the panhandle .They have opened everyones eyes to the fact that they are well prepared ,come ready to whoop some butt and can compete at any level and are part of the very best.We are very grateful to have them with us and look forward to have them back competing next year.

HONARABLE MENTION -team Lake Worth Sharkers

TimmyT and his Team Lake Worth Sharkers and also Team Palm beach Shark Slayers have also brought back a level of competitors from the Palm Beaches that had been absent since Team Black Bart last competed in the BHC .The Palm beaches and where the Gulf stream runs closest to the coast of Florida and has been where the best catches and the best teams have been from in the past ,Timmyt brings a whole new perspective to this competion and also helps set the BAR a few notches higher for all other competitors---believe that!!

Thanks to JD Hammer for recruiting the lake worth fisherman to join us in this site and in the BHC.
From my life expierience I have seen that the land-based shark fisherman who got started as pier fishermen(pier rats)are usually the best at shark fishing because they learn from childhood all the tricks from rubbing shoulders with the older fisherman day in and day out.Pier fishing is a tradition in many coastal communities of Florida and many of the young fisherman spend there summer vacations on the piers as we did as teenagers on the Florida South East coast piers (south beach pier, haulover pier and Newport pier)

A great captain and a better friend. Thank you. Nick. You fished along side me alot this year,,,,dude you had a monster on . So close!!! Ryan everytime I called you you were there -dude you are a trooper and a hell of a team mate! Keith I did not get to fish with you this year but maybe next. Thanks guys and tight lines! We have faced a lot of problems this tourny w equipment failure ,and bad weather. Dacron tail popped,400 lb mono leaders fryed thru, reels blowing up. That only says to me we put forth one hell of an effort and pushed it to the limit. And hooked some MONSTERS! Tight lines guys and thanks too all.

I would like to thank you all for the professionalism and the words of encouragement shown to all the participants of the 2011 BHC Tournament, especially to the Teams from out of state. To my team, I love you guys, and I can't wait for us to do it again, next year!!!!!
Congratulations to all the winners of the 2011 BHC!!!

Last one for the road. 71" Grouper by Louis.

We only moved to Florida just over a year ago. We've only been shark fishing for about 6 months, and this is our first tourney as a team. We have appreciated all the tricks of the trade by other teams. We have taken it all in and put our own twist to it. We have exceeded our own expectations and are amazed at all the catches by the other teams. Can't wait for BHC 2012.

The last minute to post tournament pics ended at 12 noon,,,,TOURNAMENT OFFICIALLY DONE.
A big thanks to all competitors who put forth so much hard work and sacrifice to make there catches .Many teams had to get creative and stretch there boundaries, travel TOGETHER to finally get the MOJO flowing (team getcha getcha sharkon) I personally saw them fish through the bad times and not quit but instead they fought harder--lessons to learn from them. The Winners in all categories will be announced as soon as I finish going through every single page of this thread and counting the totals hoping to not miss anything .Anyone have any idea who has caught 'MOST SHARKS OVER 7 1/2 FEET -SHARK MASTER AWARD

This was my first year fishing the tournament and I met alot of great new friends and fellow dedicated hardcore shark fishermen...our team(Shark Fever) had alot of hurdles and heartbreak the past month but hey...thats fishing. Although the tournament is over the 2011 shark season is still young...still lots of monsters to be had. Will, Kenny, Nick and Keith...it was a pleasure to be part of your team...Thank you!!!
Congrats to all winners...its not hard to tell all the dedication and sacrificies many of you made to overcome all odds. Hopefully you will all continue to post your reports even though the tournament is over.
I would like to send a sincere thank you to Will. I moved to the east coast just before the tournament started and didnt know anyone in the area. Will was nice enough to befriend me and take a chance by putting me on his team. Although I have been shark fishing for many years, I find myself learning something new from him each and every time I went fishing with him. Will, you are a stand up guy and I look forward to doing more fishing with you in the future

Will and to all the SFSC members behind the scenes that put this Tournament on.....THANK YOU!!

Team Jurassic had a great experience fishing this tournament! It was an experience that each of us will have as a memory for the rest of our lives but it was more than the actuall fishing! It was the thrill of watching the board as each team posted sharks. It was the thrill of seeing monster shark after monster shark posted on the board. It was about the friendships that grew even closer than before.

I personally feel like I got to know many shark fisherman that I didn't know before. The catches of this tournament really showed how many real good sharker's are out there.

Congrats to all who participated! Big congrats to the young fisherman that showed the upcoming generation of sharkers will keep our sport alive and continue putting monsters on the sand!!

It was a real pleasure and a honor to participate in the BHC!!! Team Jurassic is already looking forward to fishing next year!

Wishing you all Sharks on the Sand,
LaSharkHunter
